Once upon a time, she dwelt in Timelessness, and knew neither fear nor pain, but neither love nor hate. She taught the nightingales to sing, and wove dreams for her lord, until the day she ventured further than she had ever gone.

Borne on wings of song she walked in twilight lands and there, she met him.

(Love is a dangerous emotion, do not awaken it before it's time!)

Once upon a time, she dwelt in Doriath, standing hand in hand with her king, their people and their lands protected by her power. She forsook the breezes and the dreams for phsyical flesh and bone, and bore her lover a daughter, more lovely than any before or after.

They died.

(Love can hurt, and wound unto death)

Once upon a time, she returned to the home of her youth, and found it empty, without her beloved. She had no purpose, no joy, but her lord was kind and gentle, and slowly she began to heal. And others came to her, her daughter's children, and she waited, growing ever more kind, for there are things that only sorrow and grief can teach.
